We’ve had dark nights, the cold and rain. But the Kit and Car Builder Show in April heralds the begining of summer motoring. Bring it on!
It always seems to be a long wait over the winter before we have our first kit car show of the year. But as the days start getting longer and everything seems a bit more positive, we always find ourselves heading off for the traditional season opener at Detling in Kent every year.
Show organiser, John Cooke, always manages to drum up good support from the manufacturers and, despite the current economic climate, it’s looking as though many of the industry’s leading manufacturers are keen to get the show season underway. Expect 35 or so manufacturers to attend.
